About IndiaSkills

IndiaSkills is a national-level skills competition in India that provides a platform for young talents to showcase their skills across various trades. It is organized by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the guidance of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government Of India. The competition identifies, nurtures, and develops skilled professionals who represent India in the WorldSkills Competitions. IndiaSkills aims to promote skill development, excellence in vocational training, and recognizes the best in the country's skills talent. It is held every year (regional & national) with the support of State Governments, Industry, Sector Skill Councils (SSCs), State Skill Development Missions (SSDMs), Corporates, and Partner institutes. IndiaSkills Competition has the potential to reach the grassroots level and make an impact.

IndiaSkills 2025, with the tagline "Banenge Bharat Ke Skill Champion", was organized from 29th March to 2nd April 2026 at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The event brought together over 650 participants from 36 States and Union Territories, who competed across 63 skill categories, including Graphic Design Technology, 3D Digital Game Art, Digital Interactive Media Design, Industrial Design Technology, Beauty Therapy, Web Technologies, Cloud Computing, Water Technology among many others.
