To create nationwide awareness, ownership and participation across various skills and help Indian youth attain world class standards of competence, excellence, and productivity.
MESC’s Contribution
Media & Entertainment Council (MESC) made a notable contribution to IndiaSkills 2024, with over 80 candidates participating in 7 skills categories:
- Graphic Design Technology
- 3D Digital Game Art
- Industrial Design Technology
- Prosthetic & Makeup
- Drome Filmmaking
- AR/VR- Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality
- Costume Design
Out of these 80+ candidates, 3 candidates have been shortlisted to represent India in WorldSkills:
- Abhin Mittal (IDT)
- Jaahanvi (GDT)
- Spandan Ghosh (3D Digital Game Art)
Other than these 3, we have 4 more candidates who showed unparalleled dedication and skills and won themselves a gold medal, they will not be participating in WorldSkills as their skills are not a part of the international competition, but they surely gave their best and deserves all the praise:
